I recently purchased some large wooden corner ledges for my Chinchillas and one ledge the glue already came apart and we only had it about a week. So makes it kind of dangerous for my Chinchillas to use as a platform cause it drops from one corner. Wish it could be replaced. -Ramon

The quality has gone down since I have been buying these. Some of the back pieces were detached from the shelf in the shipping box when I received them. The 2 large corner shelves that arrived whole broke in 3 days after mounting in a cage. The glue holding the platform to the back piece is nonexistent and the wood itself is delaminating and chipping. Used to be a good product, but not now. -Diane K.

I ordered the large size for my dove. They are very sturdy and well made. Highly recommended!

I was surprised at how flimsy built they are. As soon as I attached them to the cage the shelf pooped off the two side boards. So I left the two side boards off, attached 3 metal L brackets with holes the same size as the screws and washers provided and attached the shelf that way. My chinchillas love the shelf. - Bonnie R.

It is a nice idea but the construction is rather flimsy. I would gladly pay more for a wood shelf that is thicker and sturdier. - Deborah S.

Will never purchase again. Immediately out of the packaging the smooth coating on the side the animal would be using was peeling off and was super rough with lots of splinters. Cheap materials. Not impressed. -Jessica A.

The small is the perfect size for my Syrian hamster. Plenty of room for her to hang out and it's even large enough for a small food bowl. It comes with plenty of hardware to securely attach it to the wires. The first shelf that arrived had a defect but once again customer service was excellent and they sent out a new one that was perfect. I will definitely buy again! -Shelane M.

Modified by cutting a notchi, which resulted in the glued joints separating along the platform... so that got re-glued and stapled for added strength. -Scott K.

Just pine wood and the bolts didn't fit through the pre drilled holes. I had to drill the holes bigger myself. I'm too lazy to send the shelves back or I would have. -Lisa M.

I love my corner shelf! It is not too big. It is just the right size. Good quality wood. I am very pleased! Recommend buying if you are looking for a small corner shelf.
