If at least 75% of your squirrel's diet is Deluxe Squirrel Diet or Squirrel Complete, supplements are optional, because the pellet diet already contains added vitamins and nutrients. Click here to view a breakdown of the vitamins and minerals in this booster.

I mix the granules with organic almond butter and chopped nuts and scoop it into empty nut shells, then freeze. I give Stevie one every night before bed and she loves it. -Stevie H

My squirrel tail got really bushy after I fed him a mixture of multivitamins and calcium. Before, he was always tired and had a thin tail. This multivitamin saved his life! Urban squirrels tend to have calcium and vitamin deficiency. It smells good. My squirrel likes eating it. I mixed some water to make a paste. Then, coat a 1/2 walnut with it. -Lynn D.

My squirrel Sneaky is one year old. Last week, he stood very close to be to show that he has muscle spasm and did not feel well. He normally jumps up and down when he sees me. I look up at this exotic vet website to find out that Sneaky had calcium deficiency. If I do not give him calcium supplement, he will eventually die from Metabolic Bone Disease (MBD). Almonds are high in calcium and protein, better for squirrels. Any other foods: Sunflower seeds, peanuts, walnuts, corn, etc. will cause MBD.

I bought the calcium supplement and multivitamin from here. I wet 1/2 of a walnut and dip it into the mixture of calcium & multivitamins for them to coat the walnut. Sneaky ate one serving a day. After a week, he started jumping up and down and circling his tail when he sees me. This saved Sneaky's life! In the wild, they chew on bones and get plenty of vitamins. My squirrel lives in an apartment complex. He became so modernized and is used to the luxury amenities like swimming pool. -Lynn D.

My squirrel loves this, really shocks me, but he will take a nibble of this right out of the jar as soon as I open it every time. I put just a sprinkle on all of his reg food. He’s so much more energetic and at the same time calmer in his demeanor and softest I’ve ever felt his fur... -Karen K.

My little buddy is a very picky eater rescue eyes still closed when found this is the best website for exotics...i sprinkle it into his daily veggies along with the calcium and he eats all of his veggies. I also will sprinkle the vitamin/calcium on his whole nuts and flowers as well. He's very healthy loves to play fur smooth strong muscle tone and a loving personality. I use this and sprinkle it on the wood ear mushrooms I give my southern flying squirrels and they love it. My group will also eat this by its self in their treat dish. This product combined with the squirrel deluxe food really made a noticeable impact on my flyers. When I first got them one of the younger females hind legs were not operating normally. Two months of this stuff and the deluxe diet, she is jumping and climbing like a normal squirrel again. Thank you!! -William C.

I used Squirrel Booster as a supplement to treat a very ill squirrel with mange with excellent results. The use of a light pet antibiotic, Ivermectin and Squirrel Booster daily in a peanut butter sandwich for about 8 days, took what looked like a dying, furless, raw skinned Squirrel and made her begin to look and act miraculously healthy again. Her fur has amazingly grown back over a course of about 3 weeks and has been a very rewarding experience. (This squirrel came to my door for help... falling over with patches of bare skin and open sores). I give her Squirrel Boster in a peanut butter and banana sandwich everyday as she continues to improve and gain significant weight .Her sores have healed and her fur has grown back. She is hard to pick out from the other squirrels now because she looks so good. However, she knows to come to me for food. I would love to post before and after pics if I could. You would need to see it to believe the amazing trnsformation of this sweet little squirrel. Amazing product. I highly recommend!
