Buying in bulk it's expensive, but well worth it! As I have a young kit in my care, this product will last a very long time, and I'm positive it will keep him healthy! He loves this brand much better than the kind I have him from a pet store 90 minutes from me. Shipping was way faster than I imagined, and saves me the far travel all exotic pet owners run the risk of when adopting these animals. Great product. -Keeley G.

I rescue, rehabilitate and release wild skunks here in Texas. I’m so very impressed with this product. I serve it to my skunks moistened with 25% veggies and fruits mixed in. I supplement with Vita-Skunk and these little buggers just tear it up! I have raised the healthiest skunks in this diet and could not be more pleased with what Exotic Nutrition offers for native species like skunks. I highly recommend them and their products!! -Amber C.

Have had several skunks over the years, my most recent one was loosing all the hair on her tail. I've never had this happen before, she looked like a striped opossum! I found this diet formula and feed it 60% Premium Skunk diet, 20% Bugs and Berries and 20% premium chicken based dog food. I also throw in 6-8 whole almonds a day into her feed. Assorted raw veggies as we use them in household. Her tail and rest of coat is filling in great, could see results within 1-2 weeks. It has been 2 months and she will be full coated and tail filled in in another 3-4 months! A little slow eat for only a day or two in the start but she was hungry enough and I think the bugs and berries helped! I have only the one, the food goes a long way, yes a little more money but she is much healthier! I've had many "unusual" pets, and yes the food costs more than my more traditional pets! -David K.

My skunk would only eat moistened at first but will accept either way now. If reluctant to eat at first, mix in some yogurt, cottage cheese or raw egg. Great product! Her weight is optimal and appears very healthy. -Jonathan B.

Our skunk has more energy and has lost some weight since using this diet. I supplement with vegetables, fruit, a little chicken, cottage cheese, or yogurt. I like using this diet. I feel it ensures the skunk is getting the proper dietary requirements. It has a nice smell and texture and stores nicely in the resealable packaging it comes in. -Kelly B.

Tried several different ways. Skunks wont eat it. -Shene A.

My little guy likes it. I mix fruit and vegetables and some chicken with it Only thing I have noticed is he poops a lot more than when he just gets homemade diet. However I know he is getting a more accurate diet by adding it to his meal plan -Gail W.

My skunks were rather reticent to eat this at first, but when they figured out I wasn't going to give in and put them back on dog kibble, they started to chow down. I do mix this with veggies and sometimes a bit of fruit, and I like that they're getting the proper nutrition they need. It's easier to keep them at a healthy weight, too (skunks get fat/diabetes too easily if you don't watch what you feed them). My *only* 'lower star is the price. Feeding exotics gets pricey! That aside, I think it's a great quality food and they've grown to love it.
