The ratties didn't use it at all but that could be due to the setup. It was long and the wire was flexible but the threading came off immediately. It's not good but it's not unreasonable given the price. --Elianna C

bird likes it, but it’s easily broken and the rope unravels quickly. plastic comes off, but it’s not that big of a deal unless moving the rope a lot.

They’re okay. Not astonished, but also not regretting my purchase. The price is good, but you get what you paid for.

I purchased two of these for my Catalina macaw because his aviary needed a revamp. While they get the job done, that being adding more perches in his aviary, they’re a bit “limp” and the rope is slightly loose and barely unraveled. I’m using other rope to support/hold up the center of these perches so they aren’t flimsy. It’s good for its price, and it isn’t a bad product, I just think these perches should be a little more sturdy for the heavier animals, such as my macaw. I probably should have read the description more.

I recommend for smaller pets. Probably not the best for a macaw/cockatoo, but it works.
