Best product of all the sources I've used. Just Mealworms without all the other bug pieces and clutter.
But...the latest package design is awkward and difficult to pour from into my large feeder. The corners of the opening are sealed and prevent the sturdy bag from fully opening. It may not matter to some folks but when I attempt to pour the worms, the opening collapses because of those corners and I struggle to hold the bag in a way that the worms pour out and some end up on the ground. - Greg T

We had the worst winter this year in Arkansas and I had these meal worms mixed with sunflower seed to throw out for the wild birds, and adopted guineas flock. We feed dried meal worms to wild birds and to the five Black Jersey Giant chickens we own. We have a special tray feeder on our back deck where I place the mealworms, and only mealworms, each morning. Birds usually start arriving within 30 seconds after I disappear from their view. I scatter a combination of scratch grains and regular chicken food on the ground and then immediately toss some mealworms on top. The chickens immediately quit pecking at the scratch and direct their beaks toward the dry worms — at a quicker pace. The birds are obviously happy and so are we. -Bert M. H.

The only problem is the English sterling and squirrels like them too and they over take the feeder unfortunately and I have to chase them off at times so that the other birds will come back. If you look in the stores you will see pretty high prices for less than 1#. I feed them year round. They attract a lot of other birds too. In the long run I buy larger quantities to save money. My rooster gives up any kind of food to 'his' girls...what a gentleman...that is, until he sees these dried mealworms. Then it's every 'chicken' for themselves. The quality is superb and the delivery is most timely. Great company and product. -Thomas D.

My old birds: hens, and wild birds are hooked on dried mealworms. I know have a new 6 chick flock and have started giving them mealworm treats and they are hooked too!

I have been ordering dried mealworms from Exotic Nutrition for a few years now. They are the only company I order from. They are an excellent company - the mealworms are always fresh and whole - not broken into little pieces. Their prices are the best too. This is just a great company - you can't beat Exotic Nutrition. Oh - and the delivery is so quick. I have received my order the next day - but they are always here by the 2nd day.
