I bought this to mix with another product for my hedgehog, Sammie. This was one of the recommendations of the veterinarian, instead of the cat food he'd been on for most all of his life. He does not like the cranberries. I wish he did. I don't currently recall the name of the other item, but together they work well for Sammie. Thanks so much. Recommend and would purchase it again. This is amazing! My hedgehog would not eat, I tried different types of cat food and nothing. I would have to syringe feed him to make sure he had something in his stomach. Please note this is a GOOD product for sure; my review is middling because i wanted to use it on smallish insectivore BIRDS, so that is to whom I am directing these comments. For animal insectivores I'm sure it is a four or five star.
But for smallish birds, the pellet type pieces in the food are just too hard for them to be able to bite or break down, and too large for them to swallow whole. I will likely put this into my coffee grinder and break it down a little more. The dried meal worms in it, though, are find for the birds, soft and easy for them to break up.
I do wish they made a similar product for smaller insectivore birds of this high quality! -Karen B.

It was good stuff. Skunk loves it. Has lots of mealworms and a bit of small dried berries. Only reason I didn't give it 5 starts is because of the price. For only 10 pounds its pretty expensive. You could order large amounts of the ingredients separate and make this mix yourself for a lot cheaper. -Brady H.

We have started to incorporate Berries and Bugs into our kinkajou’s diet and he loves it. We actually make little “meatballs” with the diet after softening it with apple juice and bond it with raw honey. It’s probably the only thing he will choose first instead of his bananas.-Mikamax
