By the time my mealworms arrive the cold pack is completely defrosted, That’s okay because temperatures here are not extremely high. -Susan K.

If you live in a warmer climate (Florida) get at least three cold packs. One won’t do it while package is in shipping.
I just received one cold pack & 500 worms today and 1/4 of them were dead. The temp of the cold pack was 82 degrees F.

These weren't the normal ice packs that I have received in the past. They were melted by the time I received my order, but luckily I found my package at the end of my driveway early enough (they dropped it off around 10:30, and I found it at 11:00) before it had time for anything to completely melt. It had just started to melt. Usually the mailman will bring it right up to my door, not today! -Deborah M.

The first time I purchased the ice pack it came still frozen and i liked it. This time, however, it was warm. Luckily the yogurt chips were okay but i don't know what i will do if i decide to order again. Great concept but it has to be used correctly. -Dan C.

I was glad I included it just for peace of mind that the mealworms wouldn't overheat in transit but wasn't overly please with the ice pack itself. Very cheap. It had broken somewhere along the trip and was oozing when I opened the mealworms. I'd include one again just wasn't what I was expecting. -Hunt & Bod S.

Perfect. I like ordering the yogurt treats online otherwise an hour and a half drive to get over priced small packages. Last order online melted before delivery. This time around I got two ice packs and they made it here in perfect condition. I live in texas so the weather is always changing and usually warm to hot. Living here in the great state of FLORIDA, getting shipments such as live food, it is always best to have them packed in ice. Your packets are sized for the amounts of mealworms we purchase, to keep the product live and fresh. -Martin K.
