I must say that I was a bit skeptical about it at first because I just didn't think that my glider would eat it. To my amazement however, she loved it!! And on top of that, I attribute her health to the introduction of her new food. You see, before I started her on the food, she was beginning to have spasms in her hind legs (which of course I feared was the hind leg paralysis which is notorious for sugar gliders to get) and in all of my research online, I was led to your site. I was fortunate enough to speak with a gentleman over the phone that told me how to administer the new food and the calcimize(traditionally I had offered her fresh fruits and vegetables and some dried fruit and nuts) . It was the regular diet with papaya. I also ordered some sugar beet treats, and apple orchard treats. My sugar glider eats it up completely and I was surprised that after acquiring a male to keep her company, I found out shortly she had 2 babies in her pouch. This really surprised me since I acquired her at around 4 months of age (small and cute), introduced the male when she was about five and she's only about 8 months old. It wasn't my intentional plans, but I had read that gliders won't breed until they are ready. What a surprise!!! I combine their daily diets with an occasional monkey biscuit, hard boiled eggs, insectivore fare, and fruits and veggies, but the pellet diet is their main food. Here in Puerto Rico it is impossible to find such a food and I am extremely thankful for you guys. I know by their energy that they are healthy and getting the right nutrition (and by her belly as well :)
