Live Arrival Guarantee:
Live mealworm orders are typically shipped by U.S. Postal service(Priority mail approx. 2 day delivery time). You must supply a valid mailing address when placing your order. During Winter months, we may use UPS Ground service (depending on the delivery location) but during the warmer months (March - Oct.), we use Priority Mail Service only (worms will arrive by your postal carrier).

If you are ordering live mealworms along with dry goods, it may be more economical for you to ship the worms separate using Priority Mail Service. Simply place one order for the live mealworms (using Priority Mail Shipping) then place a second order for your dry goods using Ground Service. This may save on shipping costs.

You must have your orders shipped to a place where they can be received and cared for upon delivery. We can not guarantee live delivery if your order was left outside because no one was around to receive it, or if your worms were delivered to a street mail box (mail boxes get very hot).

We cannot guarantee live delivery if the temperatures in your area are above 83 degrees F, or below 32 degrees F, at time of delivery.

If the temperatures in your delivery area are going to be 83 degrees or higher, or 32 degrees or lower, we suggest that you select 'Next Day Air' delivery service rather than Priority Mail as your shipping method to help ensure live delivery.

If your worms do not arrive alive, and the above conditions were met, you must contact us with-in 24 hours of delivery time in order to file a claim for replacement worms. We cannot make exceptions to this policy.
