I first purchased this in early June 2022 (it’s currently mid-July) for my chinchilla’s chronic fur-chewing. He has seen multiple veterinarians and has had bloodwork, X-rays, fungal testing, and topical parasitic medications applied.

So far I’ve noticed that he does indeed like these supplements and I sprinkle them in his food, his hay, and sometimes on top of a treat. I showed his veterinarian and he said it wouldn’t hurt to try it to see if his coat improves.

So far I think it’s helping slowly? I’ve purchased more to continue this trial! If they don’t, I’m just happy that he enjoys them! -Alexis P.

The color changed so I assume the product changed. I ordered the vitamin booster before this purchase and it was the darker brown that it is now. I thought it was a bad batch so I re ordered it and there it was again. My chinchillas don’t like it at all, they will not eat their food when I sprinkle it on. My opinion is why fix it if it’s not broken, very disappointed. -Linda G.

[Response from Seller: The booster multivitamin supplements are made with ground flax seeds, which give the contents a darker color. We recommend gradually introducing new food or supplements into the diet. Unlike food and treats, supplements aren't designed for taste, they are designed for optimal nutrition for your pet's health.]

I can't believe the difference this has made for my chinchillas! I had bought it for my beige male who had excessive hair loss and sluggishness and with four weeks of mixing this in with his pellets he has a beautiful full coat and lots of energy. My other chinchilla who is a black velvet has been getting the booster also and he now has such a beautiful coat it is actually shiny. I gave some to my mother for her female chinchilla and she says it made a big difference for her chinchilla as well. -Vanessa M.

It's more course granules than I expected vs. a fine powder. We've had a hard time getting it to stay with the food and not pass through the feed bin. We started sprinkling it on the hay in the hopes it would 'stick' better to the hay. -Julie F.
